What exactly is Zirconium?
Zirconium/ zirconia is biocompatible, non allergic, non electrical conductive material with the unique specification of letting light pass through so that the crown appears to be a natural tooth. Zirconinum/zirconia also provides the extra comfort that it would not break or chip over a period of time as against a full porcelain crown to which this is occasionally known to happen.
Porcelain is the traditional material used for new crowns. Full porcelain however may chip or break. This is overcome by making the crowns from metal, in this case the metal being zirconia, then fusing porcelain to the outside.
The zirconia metal provides the strength whilst the porcelain provides the outward appearance on a normal tooth. Zirconium crowns allow light to pass through as with a normal tooth giving a natural look, unlike other metal cores which block the light. Some resources are also calling them as Non-Allergic Crowns and say Zirconia is"Biocompatible" because the body does not reject it. Unlike Amalgam Fillings and metal alloys, the human body accepts zirconium, zirconia as a natural material, so you would not need to worry about allergies or adverse reactions.

I heard about Tourmedical from my cousin who had treatment there. I contacted them and was very comfortable from the first point of contact. I was always terrified of the dentist but the dentist and her team made me feel totally at ease and were so gentle and patient with me. It was a home away from home in a lovely friendly atmosphere and the clinic was spotless.
I had anticipated a language barrier, but there was none, the dentist had perfect English and understood my humour. They are so professional but friendly, I can recommend them one million percent, their attention to detail is second to none, even their after hour service, their Patient co-ordinator, contacted me to see how everything felt that night, I was blown away by the care and attention. They genuinely care about each and every patient, which really makes the difference.
I found Tourmedical on an internet search and found everything excellent from the start, answering all of my questions. The treatment and the dentist was first class, the treatment is explained very well and the whole process was painless. The finished result is excellend and I am over the moon. The clinic is spotless and the atmosphere is informal and friendly. Omer and Majella are fantastic, the pick up from the airport and for all appointments were great, on time and we got to enjoy the hotel and Kusadasi at the same time. It was definitely the best dental experience of my life and I would recommend it to others without a shadow of a doubt.
Hi, my name is David Lewis from the Uk. I was very wary of the dentist as had some experiences when I was younger, so avoided going and As a result my teeth were getting embarrassing. I searched the internet and came across Tourmedical and was very impressed with the speed of communication. I sent pictures across via whats app and got an idea of price, so at least I knew what I was dealing with.
I was really impressed with the service from the beginning. The clinic is state of the art with all up to date equipment and technology.
The dentist is brilliant, professional but friendly at the same time and really knows what she is doing.
I wasn’t an easy patient with my fear but they were patient with me throughout and now I am so happy with my bright white smile.
