USED FOR Repairs a tooth that is affected by decays, fractures or other damage

Composite fillings, also known as white fillings, are more than just aesthetically better matched to the tooth, they have the distinct advantages over metal fillings as they are environmentally non toxic, as no mercury is used. Composite Fillings are bonded directly to the surface of the tooth thus protecting the tooth from fracturing as they do not require the removal of healthy tooth structure, as with mercury fillings. Depending on the size, the avarage staring price for a composite filling is from 35 Euros up to 70 Euros.

Why a composite resin filling?

A composite resin filling treatment is slightly more complicated than amalgam fillings and requires more time in the dental chair. However composite resin fillings not only offer the best option aesthetically for natural looking teeth it also protects the tooth from fracturing as no removal of healthy tooth structure is needed.

What are Composite Fillings ?

Composite Fillings, aslo called as White Fillings, bond directly to the surface of the tooth and protect the tooth from fracturing as they do not require the removal of healthy tooth structure as mercury fillings do.

In other words, a dental filling is a dental restorative material used to restore the function, integrity and shape of missing tooth structure. The structural loss typically results from decay or external trauma. It is also lost intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the aesthetics or the physical integrity of the intended restorative material.

  • - Consultation and X-Ray
  • - A drill or air abrasion is used to remove the infected part of the tooth
  • - The composite resin is placed in layers over the opening
  • - A special light is used to harden each layer of the composite resin material
  • - After the tooth is filled the composite resin is shaped to resemble a real tooth.

Tooth preparation is usually required before placing a dental restoration. This process involves cutting the tooth usually with a dental drill to make space for the planned restoration, remove any dental decay and structurally unsound tooth. If permanent restoration cannot be carried out after tooth preparation, temporary restoration is done. Composite Dental composite resins are types of synthetic resins which are used in dentistry as restorative material or adhesives. Synthetic resins evolved as restorative materials since they were insoluble, aesthetic, and insensitive to dehydration and were inexpensive

Everything was amazing

My name is Alex from the Uk, My dream was to have a beautiful white Hollywood smile. I heard about Tourmedical from one of my dancing friends and was really impressed with his teeth. I had 3 attempts on coming to Turkey to have my teeth done and here I am finally with my dream come through. Everything was amazing, the clinic, its technology and cleanliness and the Cosmetic Dentist. Things could not have been any better.

I am sooo happy and can now face 2017 with confidence.

The most efficient and trust worthy clinic

I have been coming to Turkey for over 20 years and to sort my teeth out, was always something I was planning to do. This year I came and made some searches and found Tourmedical to be the most efficient and trust worthy clinic.

I was collected from my Hotel and taken to the clinic for a consultation, the clinic was the cleanest place id ever seen, the technology unbelievable, my xray was taken and I was given treatment options. I needed to talk to my partner about it and I was put under no pressure and got back later that day to them to confirm I wanted to proceed. My appointment was made, I was picked up and dropped back and something I was so worried and nervous about, turned out to be the easiest thing i had ever done.  The dentist was brilliant, plenty of anesthetic, I didn’t feel a thing, she was a perfectionist, on my checking day, when I saw my teeth, I was very happy, but she wasn’t, and pointed out a few changes she wanted to make, so they would be  perfect, the next day, they were fitted and I am a very happy man and cant wait to go back and show all my friends my new smile.

Thank you.
