A Bonding is a tooth coloured plastic mixture filled with glass 'silicon dioxide' and is a composite quartz resin that usually contains some sort of light sensitive agent.

Composites are placed while still in a soft, dough-like state, but when exposed to light of a certain blue wavelength, they polymerize and harden into the solid filling.

The procedure consists of:
